Program brought to you by Watertown Rotary, Mitch Reed Speaks, and the Day of Development. The award will be awarded at the Day of Development, March 25th at the Goss Opera House.

Nominee Qualifications

  • Between the ages of 21- 39.Watertown and/or Codington County residents

  • Someone who is en route or has already truly impacted our community for the better through their career and profession, community, and civic involvement, personal or philanthropic efforts, etc.

  • Makes our community a better place because they’re in it.

  • Deadline to nominate is February 10th!!!

Watertown Community Builder Award

The community builder award recognizes individuals that have dedicated many years of their lives to an individual business. These individuals exemplify the true meaning of hard work and dedication to a company. The traits and skills that they have are ones that people look for in new hires in a company or organization. This award is designed to acknowledge those folks that put their head down and work hard. They are dedicated, loyal, and continue to be the reason for the businesses success. 

Some of the traits that a Watertown Community Builder has includes:

  • Reliability

  • Dedicated

  • Longevity in the position

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Teamwork

  • Willing to learn and ask questions

  • Integrity 

This is a chance to acknowledge the hard work of the various citizens of Watertown. Many times, folks are acknowledge internally for their hard work. The Watertown Community Builder award allows people to receive this recognition at the community level. Nominations are due Feb 20th.
